Billy has been in the financial services industry since 1996 after a rewarding career as a jockey. He has worked for several notable firms and opened his own financial planning firm in 2009- Peterson Wealth Services Inc. He obtained his CDFA license in 2010 and began offering divorce financial consulting to individuals, couples and their legal advisors. Billy has extensive experience in asset valuation and division analysis for complex estates and high net worth individuals. Helping divorcing couples find the solution that works best for them as well as their children is his priority and commitment. Billy resides in Morgan with his wife Heather and 5 children.
Financial Advisor, CDFA®
For nearly a decade Shaun has been advising clients with some of their biggest transitions in life. Most of those transitions are cause for celebration- retirement, business sale or a new career path. However, there was one transition that frequently came up that wasn’t a cause for celebration, divorce. Shaun realized that this was one of the most difficult and frustrating time periods for someone. He wanted to help so he decided to obtain his CDFA and become a specialist for divorcing couples. Shaun has been assisting UDP clients create their divorce plan for the past three years. Shaun resides in Holladay, UT with his wife, Kate and his twin daughters Quinn and Sloane.
Dale received his BS degree in accounting from Southern Utah University and performed his graduate work at the University of Utah. The past sixteen years has been spent operating his own private accounting practice. He currently holds a license as an EA (Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service through the Appellate Division) and as a CDFA. Dale brings over 40 years of experience in accounting, tax, mediation, litigation, and estate planning to UDP. He resides in Morgan, Utah with his wife Doris. They have three children and 7 grandchildren.
Amy is a native of Seattle who has lived all over the country, most recently in Los Angeles before moving to Utah. As a former military spouse for 18 years, who divorced after relocating to Utah, Amy understands the emotional and financial burdens a divorce can create. She also know firsthand that divorce provides opportunities for personal growth—a time to become a “phoenix rising from the ashes”. Amy is an avid skier in the winter and mountain biker in the summer. She enjoys spending time with her 11 year old daughter, who is also an avid skier and tennis player.

Kacey is a life-long resident of Utah and has worked in the financial industry for the last four years. The emotional and financial toll of her own divorce gave her the ability to expand her focus beyond helping clients get through the financial issues of divorce, but also to prepare and inspire them for success after divorce. Kacey lives in Morgan and has four children.
Maggie graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Her psychology studies provide her with unique insight for the emotional stresses associated with divorce. After graduating, Maggie worked for a government consulting firm in Washington, DC before making a move out west to pursue the next step in her professional career. Maggie supports to the CDFAs® by answering client inquiries and providing excellent client service. Maggie and her husband, Ben, currently live in Layton, UT with their energetic border collie, Ellie.
